The Three School of Thought - Civic Narrative

Human activities are the most influence and relate to the how to create the space in related to civic narrative. In site visit, kite flying culture is is the most common activities on there, therefore the canopy is using the method of tension and fabric to tie and hold the canopy as it relates how the kite flying culture influences the design. Meanwhile as kite flying is in the air, the canopy also designs in partial suspended in a suitable height which allow people to access and use the facility.

In the design of small pool and canopy, the idea of using stone as part of design in it because is locally available. Stones have random form but by using a proper construction method will allow it to create a beautiful craft of space. The method of constructing the canopy is using gabion wall  allow people to experience the beauty of a raw material can done a space without any luxury or modern design.

The Three School of Thought - The Poetic

In the design of small pool and canopy, the idea develop from the observation of the mangrove trees area where all the mangrove tress have different height which create a different size of the aperture which allow the light penetrate through it. On the same time the light ray from different time and different direction give different light beam and form the shadow which giving a feeling of poetic of space that surrounded together with the mangrove tress.Light source that form the shadow in the space giving a different atmosphere from time to time.
